I’m delighted to tell you that we picked up the award for Best New Business at the 2011 Bath Life Awards last Thursday evening.
The whole team are honoured to have won and are very proud to have come such a long way in a very short space of time.For those of you who weren’t lucky enough to attend,here is a brief rundown of the evening.
On spectacular form as usual,in best bib and tucker, the Storm team arrived at the wonderful Assembly Rooms and indulged in a few glasses of fizz & canapés. Before the awards commenced, the host for the evening, Greg Ingham (sporting a cracking white tux) introduced the comedy stylings of Raymond & Mr Timpkins. A three course dinner acompanied by wine followed this, and led nicely into the main event.
All of the shortlisted companies had been filmed beforehand,so as each entrant was announced the audience were shown a short film clip about them. After Storm’s name was called they made their way onto the stage in a blur of exitement, before being ushered outside for some PR snaps. As you’d expect, a few more celbratory drinks followed before they decided to call it a night. The following morning they all arrived promptly at 9, ready for another days work. Another advantage of being such a young and enthusiatic team; not a hangover in sight.
