Welcome to the team Alex

We’re excited to introduce you to our new team member, Alex. Alex has joined our team as a Ruby Developer.

He recently graduated from Swansea University with a computer science degree. You know how much we love a Q&A with newbies so we asked Alex all our favourite questions.

Do you have any hobbies or interests outside of work?

In my free time I enjoy reading up on current affairs. I’m specifically interested in software politics and cyber security. I also really enjoy getting lost around the world playing Geoguessr. 

If you could visit anywhere in the world, where would you go?

Ooh… Tristan da Cunha, Mongolia or Papua New Guinea. I like the idea of visiting somewhere remote and those places seem pretty cool.

What is the most exciting or unusual thing you’ve ever done?

I lived in New Zealand for a couple of years when I was younger.

What are you most looking forward to by working at Storm?

I’m looking forward to collaborating on a big project and seeing my work go live. Alongside this I’m excited to get a deeper understanding of Rails.
