Awards season is off to a great start. We are very proud to have been shortlisted for FOUR categories in The SPARKies this year!
Competing against some other very talented companies across the South West, we are finalists in the following categories:
- Best Place to Work in Tech
- Best Digital Design (for which we’ve been entered twice!)
- The ‘Totally Killing It’ Award
- Founder of the Year for our Managing Director, David Kelly
What are The SPARKies Awards?
For several years, South West Tech Community, TechSpark, has been shining a light on the very best people, products and companies that make up the tech sector in Bristol, Bath and the broader West of England region.
This year the awards will be held at The Assembly Rooms in Bath on 27th June 2019, and if you’ve been to the SPARKies before you’ll know it’s a night full of digital debauchery, comedy and community with awards for everything from outstanding tech start-ups to mentors, hardware, virtual reality and more.
Why we entered this year’s awards
We’ve decided to go for it with awards entries this year to celebrate not only the successful and fun-filled year we’ve had, but due to it being our 10 year anniversary.
From working with a number of innovative tech start-ups to building new websites for successful local businesses and organisations, we’re extremely proud of our clients, their own successes and the work we have created.
Our staff also nominated Storm for the Best Place to Work in Tech, which is a huge compliment for any business. Celebrating Dave and Adam’s revolutionary approach to team management and the fantastic benefits we receive, we’re pleased it has been recognised by the industry.
Last year we were proud to actually win the award for Best Digital Design so we are thrilled to have been shortlisted for TWO of our websites this year! Celebrating our work with the Institute of Coding and Engine Shed, both websites have been listed as finalists in the same category. What an amazing result.
And of course, our incredible Managing Director, David, has been shortlisted for Founder of the Year! Not bad, considering he’s up for the same award a couple of weeks before at Creative Bath Awards.
We’ve got our fingers crossed for the 27 June, and good luck to all of the other excellent businesses who have been shortlisted for an award!
