Last Thursday, Claudia went down to Plymouth to celebrate the best in tech across the South West.
We’ve been proudly involved in Tech South West for two years in a row and champion new businesses by sponsoring the ‘Best Start Up‘ category. We are delighted that RoleMapper came out on top for their work in helping to diversify companies hiring processes using their AI-powered Intelligent Job Design.
Intelligent AI were also highly commended by the judges. Congratulations to both companies for achieving such great recognition.
We were finalists in the Tech Company of the Year (revenue under £5m) category. Sadly we didn’t win but the lovely team at A2Z Cloud did.
However, on the evening we were up for the People’s Choice Award for our work with Co-forest. The nominations were put to the people of the South West who voted throughout the event. We are absolutely thrilled to say that Storm X Co-forest won!
A day later we started planting Co-forest:Acorn so this was a tremendous way to mark the occasion. We want to say a huge thank you to our pledgers who have helped this come to life. Thank you to those who also voted for us on the evening.
The Tech South West team put on an incredible evening. We were treated to an immersive dome experience, yummy vegan street food and brownies. The energy in the room was something quite special and we are delighted to have sponsored such a wonderful event and to have come home with a title ourselves.
