With COVID-19 halting our plans for this year’s Storm Retreat (yes it was supposed to be in a couple of weeks time 😞) we thought we’d reminisce over last year’s incredible trip to Salcombe.
In celebration of our 10 year anniversary, Dave and Adam pulled out all the stops and treated us all to a luxury five days away in a spectacular house overlooking the sea – and a pretty impressive outdoor swimming pool!
As if that wasn’t enough, they also treated us to some delicious meals (often cooked by them!), a hyper competitive afternoon at a shooting range, plenty of down time to relax, and the largest bottle of champagne we’ve ever seen!
To thank them for their generosity the team hosted a special surprise party for Dave & Adam with cake and balloons. Plus a very embarrassing video of all the footage collected of the Storm team over the past 10 years, and a controversial game of Mr & Mrs between Dave & Adam.
We also premiered a collection of video messages from staff (both past and present), business associates and clients congratulating them both on 10 years of Storm. We’re pretty sure we saw a sneaky tear in their eyes 😉
While the weather was a mixed bag, at no point did it stop the fun! It was a fantastic week full of laughter, team building and enormous respect for two wonderful bosses who go above and beyond to treat their staff.
