Storm are proud to announce the delivery of a new Intranet for the Sirona Care and Health. The new system, which is being used across the 1,800 strong workforce, was successfully delivered on budget and to a very tight deadline.
The new Intranet was launched in October to coincide with Sirona’s one year anniversary. Having been live for almost a month now, the new site has been warmly received across the organisation. One staff member commented “The look and feel of the new Intranet is excellent – a world away from the terrible old thing we had before.”
Unconventional and innovative
Having discussed Sirona’s requirements at a workshop session, we took the somewhat unconventional and innovative route of developing the Intranet in the WordPress content management system, rather than a dedicated Intranet tool like SharePoint. This allowed us to concentrate on the content and the users, rather than on software and features, resulting in a user-friendly, aesthetically pleasing site – qualities not often found in corporate Intranets!

We’re really excited to be working with Sirona and are looking forward to developing the Intranet further in many innovative and interesting ways over the coming months!
