Some fantastic news this morning – we have appointed two new members to the team here at Storm – a new strategy consultant and a front end web developer.
Mike Ellis has joined us as strategy consultant to help us further grow the business. Mike has extensive experience as a web strategist and an enormous enthusiasm for business growth and development so we’re really excited to have him on board.
Mike’s role here at Storm will be to develop and deliver a strategy for further growth of the business, to evolve our social media approach and to assist us in specification building.
Mike said: “I am really looking forward to getting involved in an enthusiastic, young agency that is willing to challenge the way things are traditionally done and try new tactics to develop the business.”
Mike’s got a real passion for the digital industry in Bath, having founded a number of local networks including BathCamp and Bath Digital.
His previous experience includes positions as online production manager at Waterstone’s Online, head of web at the National Museum of Science & Industry and digital strategist at not-for-profit IT company Eduserv. He is also director of Bath-based agency Thirty8 Digital.
In 2011 Mike co-founded ‘The Big M’, an independent conference for mobile technologies which saw over 200 people travel to Bath from across the country to discuss advances and opportunities within the sector.
An excellent strategist with a great deal of experience and strong connections within the industry, Mike is bringing a number of exciting ideas to the table are we’re really excited to be working with him.
Storm has also added new front-end web developer Liam Gladdy to the team. Liam was previously the product and web developer at Gradwell, and will be assisting Storm’s development team in building web applications and sites.
As an exceptionally talented developer with a passion for web that is only surpassed by his passion for Apple products, Liam will be an invaluable addition to the Storm family.
We now have a completely full office with seven staff combining design, development and business consultancy skills.
