Today we say farewell to our lovely Developer, Pete Black, who is leaving us to embark on new adventures.
Pete joined us two years ago as part of our Ruby on Rails team; since then he has created some fantastic projects along the way and has been a pleasure to work alongside. He has been an integral member of the team working with our long-term US partners, LogicPrep, and we’re all very sad to see him go.
Adam, our Technical Director and co-founder, said:
“Pete has been a vital part of the team during his time with us, delivering some great work in his own conscientious, thoughtful style. He’ll be greatly missed but we wish him all the best for his future adventures.”
Pete is taking some much-needed time off to travel the world – his first stop being Indonesia. We can certainly imagine him fitting in well there, enjoying yoga retreats, the food, and all the laid back vibes so suited to his personality.
He’s also looking forward to furthering his skills in other areas of computer science and will no doubt be dabbling more in the world of blockchain and cryptocurrency.
Pete explained: “I’ve had a great innings here at Storm, working on innovative projects and growing with the support of kind friends! It’s been a fun journey, so it’s with sadness but also joy that I’ll be leaving to pursue new avenues and an interest in blockchain technology. Thank you all!”
It’s been great working with you Pete, we’re all going to miss you around the office. Look out world, ‘Pete Noir’ is coming for you!
