We’ve just released v1.0 of WP Tidy Dashboard Widgets. It lets you selectively tidy up/remove/turn off/hide the WordPress admin dashboard widgets for all users.
From the options page you can hide the following widgets:
- Incoming Links
- Other WordPress News
- Plugins
- Quick Press
- Recent Comments
- Recent Drafts
- Right Now
- WordPress Blog
It’s pretty simple, but lets you remove all of the annoying boxes that annoy regular users and make the dashboard look quite overwhelming to new-to-WordPress clients.
