There’s a new sun protection on the block. We designed a new inspiring international lifestyle brand website to help combat skin cancer in men.

Pick a term, ‘Bro-tection’ or ‘being buddy-minded’. No matter which way you look at it, LifeJacket wants you to take better care of your skin every single day. To launch this new and inspiring brand to the world, Storm set about creating a clean, modern and energetic website to reflect LifeJacket’s brand and values

As a new direct to consumer brand we engaged with Storm to develop a fully functional e-commerce site for LifeJacket with a focus on visual design impact, conversion performance and back-end operational functionality. Covering all bases

Before meeting with Storm, LifeJacket already had their hearts set on a brand that reflected their vibrancy and passion for men’s health. It was now our job to translate those ideals and values into a website that inspired all men to join them in their quest for a happier, healthier lifestyle. To get this done, we had to create a web brand who’s way of life felt as natural online as it did offline.

Designing for audience

LifeJacket’s demographic spans from the everyday busy Dad to the active and outdoor loving hikers, bikers and surfers of the world. The creative had to allow for LifeJacket share their passion and give them space to display highlights and key features with their audience. The key to all this was creating a design that mirrored the products themselves – clean, light, vibrant and then wrap this visual thinking around a robust eCommerce experience that made buying LifeJacket’s cream quick and effortless.

Building the store

We built an eCommerce website using WordPress and WooCommerce for LifeJacket. It was important to showcase the full range of products available with all of the USPs, accreditations and customer reviews to users, while making it seamless for users to complete their shopping. We ensured the custom theme we built allowed for various WooCommerce templates, along with any additions LifeJacket may wish to make in future.

It’s been amazing to see LifeJacket make so much progress and with an idea around health and protection that we can all get behind. Watching them grow their impressive list of ambassadors and partners and to see their determination to evolve the brand and push their product is exciting. We can’t wait to see what else they have up their sleeves.
