The role

We are looking for a Mid-weight to Senior Digital Designer with a passion for exceptional digital experiences. This is a hands-on creative role where you’ll be working with the creative and development team on projects of all shapes and sizes, for a mixture of local, national and international organisations.


Day to day

You will play a key role in the creation of websites, applications and internal marketing material. You will also work with and expand upon current UI designs to enhance functionality and visual appeal, resulting in user-friendly features, elements, and layouts.

You will also be assisting in internal testing of new projects and communicating with clients during important feedback stages.


Your skills

  • You’ll have a minimum of 3 years experience working within a small-mid sized agency (or similar)
  • You’ll have relevant experience working on digital projects of varying sizes and sectors. Variety is a great thing.
  • You’ll have a passion for digital design, focusing on UI and user experiences that blend style with functionality to craft compelling, inclusive user journeys.
  • You’ll be able to demonstrate an exciting portfolio of work showing your creative and technical thinking and design work
  • You’ll have a natural ability to interpret client & project briefs, bringing concepts to life with your own creative vision while working under the supervision of the Creative Director. 
  • You’ll have a firm grasp of design standards, ensuring that designs comply with design systems and best practices for usability, accessibility, and industry best practices
  • You’ll possess an understanding of how designs translate to production and have experience working closely with developers
  • You’ll have a meticulous, thorough, and passionate view of design with excellent visual, UI, and interaction skills
  • You’ll be proficient in design tools such as Figma, and Adobe Creative Suite

  • You have a genuine passion for everything design and enjoy sharing that passion with others.
  • You’re a natural team player with a collaborative approach but also comfortable working from your own initiative.
  • You’re an excellent listener/communicator who is able to understand, question and articulate design logic. You are able to communicate/share your ideas in a clear and productive manner to the creative and development team.
  • You have the ability to be flexible and work across a range of projects, taking creative direction and being able to manage your own time.
  • You have passions and interests outside of digital design that also feed your creativity – animation? Illustration? Photography?

  • Yuup – A Bristol, Bath and Birmingham based experience curator. After extensive user testing and updates to their site, in the first three months, their sales tripled.
  • CiteAb – We built the world’s leading search engine data provider for the life science industry. The technology saves the global Life Science industry over $1bn/year.
