By Liam Gladdy

We’re pleased to announce we’ve added some additional features to the Institute of Coding (IoC) website.

Online course catalogue for a leading digital education

The Institute of Coding’s website was launched earlier this year, and since then they have been growing at a rate of knots! They have been developing and expanding their course options alongside online learning platform, Future Learn, whilst we have been providing the digital support to incorporate an online course catalogue to help recruit more students.

Currently the catalogue is highlighting a number of courses from 10 leading universities including the University of Bath, UWE, Newcastle, Manchester Metropolitan, Queen Mary University of London, with more being added over time.

About the Institute of Coding

The IoC is a consortium of 33 leading UK universities, 81 companies (large corporates and SMEs), and 20 outreach organisations/ professional bodies (such as the British Computer Society and CREST), who have come together to bridge the digital skills gap across the UK.

The Institute aims to develop the way students can receive a digital education, including work-based courses and apprenticeships, as well as boosting equality and diversity in tech-related education and careers.

The IoC has an initial four-year funding period of £20 million of government funding plus £20 million of matched funding from other sources.
