We’re expanding our team!

Goings-on at Storm
By    | June 25, 2014 | Storm News

Following our most successful year to date and the growth of our fantastic client base, we’re looking to expand our close-knit team with two new roles.

We’re looking for: a front-end UX / UI developer and a PHP / WordPress developer.

Front-end Developer
We’re looking for someone to sit between our lead designer, Andrew, and our back-end developers. The ideal candidate will be someone who knows SASS, HTML and JavaScript (and CoffeeScript!), but also knows their way around Photoshop (and ideally Sketch!).

PHP Developer
For this role we’re looking for someone to work on the PHP projects we do. The vast majority of these are WordPress related, so some knowledge of WordPress is preferred, but we think WordPress is pretty easy to pick up for seasoned PHP developers. You’ll be working in a close team downstairs at Storm, working with our designer Andrew, our team leader and full stack developer Liam, and our new Front-end Developer to create beautiful projects for our clients.

We pride ourselves on building functional, beautiful websites with an excellent attention to detail, and will expect both roles to enhance that further.

A successful candidate will:

  • Be passionate about working in the web technology field
  • Be confident and articulate in front of clients, and wider audiences
  • Be able to commute daily to our offices in central Bath
  • Be a good cultural fit with our fun, relaxed, yet hard working-team

Job perks:

  • Unlimited holiday policy
  • We don’t work Friday afternoons!
  • Beautiful offices in central Bath
  • Top of the line Apple equipment to work on
  • Plenty of team socials

If you think you’ve got what we’re looking for, please drop an email with your CV and a covering note to liam@stormconsultancy.co.uk. Please include examples of work you have produced in the past and salary expectations.

Absolutely and explicitly no agencies or recruiters.
